Follow A84 for 4 miles then take left half turn beyond Blairdrummond Safari park entrance for Thornhill turning onto A873. Drive for 7.3 miles passing through villages of Thornhill & Ruskie following signs for Aberfoyle.
From the north exit A9 for Dunblane / Doune / Callander. Turn right onto A820 (A84) towards Doune / Callander. Enter Doune and bear left onto A84 then head right towards Thornhill on A873. Pass through villages of Thornhill & Ruskie following signs for Aberfoyle.
½ mile beyond Ruskie you will see 40mph signs and a small sign for Blairhoyle. Look for some new build houses on the RHS and then turn right, on a sharp left hand bend, into a tarmac bell mouth with lots of wheelie bins in between the houses. If you see ornate black and gold fencing and gates on your LHS you have gone too far.
Follow this track past new build timber houses and over speed bumps for 1/2 mile looking for small signs for Cassafuir. When you reach a fork in the road take the right fork and follow this track up hill for another ½ mile to the white farm house and buildings. If you see deer fencing on your RHS you are on the right road.
For the pod site follow track up to signs for farm traffic and drive left around new farm sheds and through the open gate on your left in the deer fencing and bear left following a track which runs parallel to the Rusky burn. Follow this track uphill for 0.75 miles until you see pods.
