Here & Now PODS

Luxury camping pods in an idyllic setting

There are only  2 Glamping pods – Here and Now. We didn’t want to ruin this stunning location by trying to squeeze in too many. The whole point in the pods is to offer you somewhere incredibly special to come to, to disconnect from your daily life and find yourself completely in Here or Now.

The glamping pods and canopies have been carefully constructed using Scottish timber. With larch cladding, and pine decking they nestle into the landscape. Each pod has 100mm fibre wool insulation, electric towel rails and beautiful tongue and groove pine interiors. Mains water provides a safe and consistent water supply combined with the off grid energy system to provide all of the creature comforts.

We have built decks onto the front of each pod, with a large covered area, so no matter what the weather you can really be outside and in nature. There is a table and 2 chairs which you can move wherever you prefer on the deck, and sumptuous sheepskins to sink into. The large covered area is also fabulous for de-robing in when you get back in from your adventures, allowing you to keep your bedroom mud free and lovely.

Each pod has its own gas barbeque for cooking on, and there is a fire pit in front of each pod too for when the weather is better and you want to sit under the stars, or soak up the sun. The fire pits are surrounded by large boulders found on the farm, that you can sit on and gaze into the flames while toasting marshmallows or cooking sausages!

Internally the glamping pods are cosy and warm, consisting of a giant King Size bed, with luxury Egyptian cotton sheets. There is a bar table with stools that you can sit on and eat at if the weather is just too cold for you outside, and a small kitchenette area with a sink, small fridge / freezer and all the crockery and cutlery you will need. Only the finest Dartington crystal glasses will do for your wine or water, and we provide a toaster, kettle and all you need to make tea and coffee.

There is no TV, but we have provided books and there are cards and games to play with. We have also supplied wi-fi, but why not try a digital detox whilst surrounded so completely by nature..

The pods are both en suite with a shower and loo and sink. Big, thick and fluffy towels are all provided and there is a heated towel rail to hang them up on and keep them warm and dry for you.

The pod site, nestled amongst Scots pines and birch trees on the South West shore of Loch Rusky, is accessed by a 1.5 mile track ‎which leads to Here and Now. (Please note that Ferrari's and other very low slung sports cars may struggle up this track, but normal vehicles should be just fine).

Paddle boards are available to hire for the duration off your stay! Get in touch to find out more!

A bespoke system by Energy Solutions (link) provides power from a Lithium battery bank via a PV solar array, 1kw wind turbine and backup SDMO diesel  generator. The power system is located in another separate service pod sited away from the main pods to ensure your stay is a peaceful as possible.

This provides year round power regardless of any inclement Scottish weather! ‎The pods are on mains water and a septic tank system and hot water is via propane gas boilers. To keep you connected to the outside word should you chose to, the pod site is equipped with free high speed broadband.

The views are what make Here and Now glamping pods unique. Here looks out across Loch Rusky and Ben Ledi to the North whilst Now has a huge vista, 30 miles on a clear day, to the South and West, and spectacular views across the loch to the North.
