AROUND CASSAFUIR

When you have had an amazing night of sleep in your Luxury Glamping Pod there is lots to do in the area.

With Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park (LLTNP) ‎on the doorstep this is the ideal base from which to explore all that this area has to offer. A plethora of activities are available in the area. The surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest Park  offers huge opportunity for walking and cycling.

Ben Ledi, Ben Lomond, Stuch a Croin, Ben Vorlich and a host of other mountains are all within easy reach for those wishing to explore.

Pony trecking, seaway tours, wildlife watching tours are a sample of what's on offer in the area and for those from further afield who wish to see the bright city lights of Edinburgh or Glasgow - they are both only an hour's easy drive away.

If Fishing is not your thing

If you would like to burn off some extra calories but not leave the farm, you can book a PT session with Natalie. Please get in touch beforehand if you would like to do this so she can assess what level you are at and tailor make a plan just for you.

We have also recently built a great new gym down by the main house which you can rent out or have your own 1:1 or 1:2 PT session in with Natalie.

For a more relaxing experience why not book yourself an hour of Reiki with Natalie too? This fantastic Japanese energy healing can leave you feeling fully energised, relaxed, re-centered and ready to take on the world again. Again there is no need to leave the farm – you can either drive down to the main steading to her Reiki room, or enjoy the 3/4mile walk down hill admiring the view and the deer on the way.

Lochside Vennacher

Situated on Loch Vennacher this is well worth the drive, but worth booking a table just in case, great, freshly made food. Approximately a 15 min drive away.

Monachyl Mhor

A longer drive away, but if you are celebrating or just fancy a really superb dinner or lunch, this is the place to go – approx. 50mins drive. Check out their website as they also have a great bakery in Calander and a roadside diner too, all worth investigating.

For lunches and/or farm shop supplies:

The Smiddy

Just as you turn off the A84 to come towards us, this place has a wonderful butchery – best in the area in our opinion, and you can stock up on all sorts of delicious treats.  Also good for a coffee, or lunch.

The Woodhouse

A couple of miles the other side of Thornhill towards Kippen – this is a fabulous place for lunch and has a great farm shop too, with a Mellis cheese counter…

Besides these places, there are tons of other cafes and pubs in Aberfoyle or Callander, Stirling and all around.
