When you have had an amazing night of sleep in your Luxury Glamping Pod there is lots to do in the area.
With Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park (LLTNP) on the doorstep this is the ideal base from which to explore all that this area has to offer. A plethora of activities are available in the area. The surrounding Queen Elizabeth Forest Park offers huge opportunity for walking and cycling.

Pony trecking, seaway tours, wildlife watching tours are a sample of what's on offer in the area and for those from further afield who wish to see the bright city lights of Edinburgh or Glasgow - they are both only an hour's easy drive away.

Why not treat yourself to some time on the Loch in front of the pods. We have paddle boards to hire for the duration if your stay for £20
Fishing on Loch Rusky
Available by separate arrangement from the angling club who rent and run the the fishery. This is regularly stocked with rainbow trout and one visitor boat is available daily. Fishing is by fly only.
Fishing on Lake of Menteith
Nearby Lake of Menteith is a much larger world class trout fishery.
Fishing on the River Teith
The river Teith offering excellent salmon and sea trout fishing is 15 minutes drive away and we are happy to introduce you to Lanrick Estate to see what is available should this appeal.
If Fishing is not your thing
If you would like to burn off some extra calories but not leave the farm, you can book a PT session with Natalie. Please get in touch beforehand if you would like to do this so she can assess what level you are at and tailor make a plan just for you.
We have also recently built a great new gym down by the main house which you can rent out or have your own 1:1 or 1:2 PT session in with Natalie.
For a more relaxing experience why not book yourself an hour of Reiki with Natalie too? This fantastic Japanese energy healing can leave you feeling fully energised, relaxed, re-centered and ready to take on the world again. Again there is no need to leave the farm – you can either drive down to the main steading to her Reiki room, or enjoy the 3/4mile walk down hill admiring the view and the deer on the way.
Other things to do-
Have a look at this website – Castle Rednock is just a mile and a half away.
World famous Blairdrummond Safari Park
The Lion and Unicorn pub in Thornhill is only 4 miles away. Always a good atmosphere and they do great pub food.
The Lake of Menteith Hotel.
This is set on the shores of the Lake of Menteith and is a beautiful, cosy place to go for a bar lunch or smarter dinner, 2miles away.
Situated on Loch Vennacher this is well worth the drive, but worth booking a table just in case, great, freshly made food. Approximately a 15 min drive away.
A longer drive away, but if you are celebrating or just fancy a really superb dinner or lunch, this is the place to go – approx. 50mins drive. Check out their website as they also have a great bakery in Calander and a roadside diner too, all worth investigating.
For lunches and/or farm shop supplies:
Just as you turn off the A84 to come towards us, this place has a wonderful butchery – best in the area in our opinion, and you can stock up on all sorts of delicious treats. Also good for a coffee, or lunch.
A couple of miles the other side of Thornhill towards Kippen – this is a fabulous place for lunch and has a great farm shop too, with a Mellis cheese counter…
Besides these places, there are tons of other cafes and pubs in Aberfoyle or Callander, Stirling and all around.
